Best Chinese food in Northern Wisconsin and Northern Minnesota based on my experience. (Not including the Twin cities, but this joint could easily compete)

Never have had a bad dining experience here. The lunch menu that is available mon- wed- Fri is a great deal. My wife and I live in Hayward and although there is a panda house there we feel this place is far superior and worth the 50mile round trip.

So so food: the Mongolian beef was OK; the almond chicken was cold and bland. The service was poor: every time we had a question about the menu we had to stand up and go ask the waitress, even when there were only two other customers and she was not really doing anything except ignoring us. It was passable, but there is no way I would eat here ever again.

Great food and decent turn over time for orders. Price is a little high for the quantity of food but it is definitely filling. The atmosphere has a comfortable feel to it and the booths are a nice touch

I go here every other Friday. Never dissapointed.

The service is horrible. The people are rude and the food is never the same. One time it will have pineapple and the next it won't in the same dish.

Hostess was outside smoking and on cell phone. Came in to take my order but refused to wash hands. Asked her about it and she said she doesnt work in the kitchen. Very unhealthy! Food is average at best. Avoid if you can.

I eat at many different places traveling for work. This has to be some of the best Chinese I have eaten in a long time! Staff was very friendly, my carryout order was correct, and the portions were huge! Definitely recommend this place to anyone swinging through Spooner!

Great food at a VERY reasonable price. I've been ordering chicken dishes for the last 10 years and it's never a disappointment. The food here is as authentic as it gets for the local area (better than Rice Lake), and the portions are generous.

I didn't expect much out of a little Chinese restaurant in Spooner Wisconsin. But, China house delivered far beyond my expectations. The pork fried rice was great and a very large portion at a reasonable price. Even living in Duluth, China House beats any Chinese place I have found in Duluth. The orange chicken was pretty good too but nothing special (IE yangs sesame chicken in Woodbury MN).

Came at 8:30 pm and they had the open sign lit up but when I walked in the said that they were closed and locked the door right after me. My family has gotten food poisoning there multiple times but I still wanted to go. Not anymore

May try again in another 5 years...pricy for mock chinese

The waitress was to busy watching Netflix and looking at her phone to get our order correct and blames it on us. Food was good but horrible customer service.

Very good food, best deals are their lunch deals. My favorites are served Tuesdays and every other day from that. They have great daily specials, friendly, fun staff. Don't pay attention to the online menu, it is not the right one.

Maybe it's just me by the Mongolian beef should be spicy. It was sweet with an excessive amount of onion the rice was great.The sweet-and-sour combo was OK as everything to dipped as not serving house.
